Interface

Awave Studio is a music editing tool that was built for professional use. As such, this program may seem somewhat complex to novice users. Awave Studio does come with a help guide and lots of information, but the interface is not self-explanatory (testing and re-testing required).

Usability

If you’re familiar with editing tools, Awave Radio isn’t too complicated. You will have to go through a number of personalization options that can make setting up this editor a task. However, once set up, the sounds that you can create using Awave Studio are top-notch.

Main Function

This is really a tool for serious music editors. Awave Studio comes with a more effects and features than many other editing tools on the market. Some might find the amount of options confusion and difficult to navigate through, but the end result of any track manipulated with Awave is usually mind-blowing. If you’re into serious sounds and playing with the very heart and soul of any track, this is absolutely the tool for you.

Extra Features

Batch conversion, MDI editing, custom sound effects, custom samples, and many other features make this program stand out from the rest. This is not a tool for a simple editing job, but it is a tool that can do everything you need it to do, and more.

Value

You might find that Awave Studio is on the expensive side of things at more than $120, but this program is one of the best on the market. You can try Awave for free once (always a good idea), and then decide if you want to purchase the program.
